Meeting Point
Quick response, clear communication, and effective evacuation strategies.

My role as a UX designer.
is to create an intuitive, scalable solution. Prioritize quick responses during emergencies, make the app accessible to diverse users, and adopt a mobile-first approach. Integrate seamlessly with emergency systems, engage communities through forums and notifications, and emphasize user education for effective fire safety. Through usability testing, ensure reliability, security, and privacy, crafting an app that actively contributes to safeguarding communities from fires.
My design goals
In field study
on advanced fire fighting and rescue techniques ensure a modern and effective response to emergencies.
Enrolling in a fire fighting and rescue course to understand the mechanics firsthand—equipping myself with the knowledge needed to design a life-saving app for communities in need.

Meet my personas
Crafted two personas, each facing unique challenges—a distant house dweller and a resident in a bustling apartment. Ensuring our app caters to diverse scenarios, maximizing the chances of successful rescues in every community.

4. It was observed that 3 out of 5 participants worry about calling the assistance. This means that there will be high traffic on phone assistance team.
5. It was observed that 2 out of 5 participants have question with navigation. This means that some of the user can not remember the fire escape path.
6. It was observed that 2 out of 5 participants try to inform extra people. This means that there always be extra people from the list.
7. It was observed that 2 out of 5 participants don’t know what to do next. This means that some of the page need to inform more information to users and arrange in sequential structure.

7. Based on the theme that: Some users don’t know what is the next step, an insight is: User need more information in some step and arrange the workflow in sequential structure.
Usability study: findings
My task is design a scalable way to help communities ensure all residents protected from fires, so I want to identify two main personas that live in different environment. Specifically, I want to determine whether these user would prefer to get the notification or not. Additionally, I want to know how fast we can point out people who need rescue for life safety benefit.
1
Round 1 findings
-
System should have address of each building and use searching instead.
-
System should give a sample of the notification in each situation.
-
System should provide alternative way of communication.
2
Round 2 findings
-
Design provide decision made in wrong step.
-
Design can not prioritize the news.
-
Design not show the update date and time of each update information.

Continue doing another digital wireframes due to provide a flexible platform for incorporating specific user feedback and refining details swiftly. This efficiency is crucial in post-usability test, enabling designers to implement improvements efficiently and iteratively, ensuring that the final product aligns more closely with user preferences and needs.
