As a coffee enthusiast for over a decade, I've eagerly delved into the world of brewing, eagerly testing new equipment and exploring a diverse array of beans. From the grinding process to the selection of the brewing apparatus, I find joy in every step. Each cup is a delightful journey, with the beans' origin and roast imparting unique flavors. This ongoing quest for the perfect brew has been both a personal pleasure and a constant learning experience.

Usability testing

Before I invest my money and time into developing a coffee machine, I would like to gather feedback from coffee drinkers about the results of using different types of pour-over brewing profiles on the same coffee bean. Will they be able to discern the differences between each profile? To ensure a clear and user-friendly experience, I've created a comprehensive brewing chart using my UX designer skills, which will guide them in crafting an identical cup. Their input will be invaluable in refining the machine to cater to the diverse preferences of coffee enthusiasts.

The research demonstrated that users were adept at utilizing the provided brewing charts. This indicates a high level of usability and user-friendliness in the design, as individuals were able to follow the charts accurately to achieve their desired coffee profiles.

Participants successfully extracted a variety of flavors from the same coffee bean by following different brewing profiles. This finding highlights the machine's capability to cater to a wide range of taste preferences, showcasing its versatility and potential to offer a customized coffee experience for users with varying palate preferences.
